2011

HighPoint launches Industry's first 4-port USB 3.0 HBA with dedicated 5Gb/s per-port performance; the RocketU 1144A.

HighPoint launches Industry's first Dual-Dedicated 5Gb/s USB 3.0 Storage Dock; the RocketStor 5122B.

2010

Selected by WDC: bundles 2-port SATA 6Gb/s (OEM Packaging) with their SATA 6Gb/s 3TB HDDs.

HighPoint launches the industry's lowest priced 6Gb/s SAS RAID 6 HBA; the RocketRAID 2720SGL. Widely adopted by industry Storage Application Servers.

HighPoint launches the industry's first 32-port 6Gb/s SAS RAID HBA; the RocketRAID 2782.

2009

HighPoint Launches the industry's first 2 and 4-port SATA 6Gb/s RAID HBA and HBA series; the RocketRAID 62x and RocketRAID64x.

Highpoint delivers the industry's first 6G SATA RAID 5 host adapters, the RR600 product family.

2008

Highpoint introduces its Value SAS line of RAID host adapters –low cost, highly configurable (external/internal2-8 ports) with support for both SAS and SATA hard disks.

HighPoint launches its hardware RAID SAS host adapter product line, starting with the 8-port PCI-E x8 RocketRAID 4320.

2007

Starting with the RocketRAID 3520, HighPoint hardware RAID controllers are imbedded into Linux kernel 2.6.25.

2006

HighPoint launches its Intel based IOP Hardware RAID controllers? – the ideal combination of high performance, scalability, versatile port counts at the lowest price point.

2005

HighPoint delivers the industry’s first PCI-Express 8-port SATAII RAID card, the RocketRAID 2320.

2003

HighPoint delivers the industry’s first low-cost 8-port PCI-X RAID 5 card, the RocketRAID 1820A.

2002

HighPoint launches the industry’s first 4-port SATA controller, the RocketRAID 1540.

HighPoint launches the industry’s first SATA host adapter, the RocketRAID 1520. Many leading hardware vendors, including Hitachi and Maxtor, utilize the RR1520 to qualify their hardware products.
