In collaboration with Samsung Japan Corp and ASK Corp, HighPoint will be presenting a series of live demonstrations, highlighting the superior performance, portability, and scalability of our NVMe RAID AICs and RocketStor external storage enclosures.

8K60p NRAW Multi-Streaming & Editing using the Rocket 7608A Gen5 NVMe RAID AIC
The Rocket 7608A 8x M.2 NVMe RAID AIC was selected to showcase Multi-Stream Editing 8K60p workflows via BMD DaVinci Resolve . The compact, PCIe Gen5 x16 add-in-card has been integrated into a Lenovo ThinkStation P8 workstation powered by AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro and an Nvidia RTX5000 Ada GPU. Rocket 7608A AICs are capable of directly hosting up to 64TB of 2280 form factor (8x 8TB) Gen4/Gen5 M.2 storage while delivering 60GB/s of real-world transfer performance; ideal for media professionals working with multi-stream 8K workflows.

Portable, High-Speed Storage Performance with HighPoint’s RocketStor 6542AW Gen4x16 External NVMe RAID Storage Enclosure
The RocketStor 6542AW’s dedicated PCIe Gen4 x16 switch connectivity ensures seamless data transmission between the host editing platform and 2.5” storage devices. Despite external RAID solution standing less than 5” in height, the compact, external NVMe solution can support up to eight U.2 or U.3 SSDs, nearly ½ petabyte of storage capacity, and is capable of delivering 28GBs of real-world transfer performance; ideal for tackling data-intensive applications such as such as high-speed media capture and M&E post production.
The enclosure will be connected to a second editing platform based around the Lenovo ThinkStation P8 workstation to demonstrate the solution’s highly stable transfer capabilities, massive storage capability and flexible hot-swap capability. The external form-factor can house up to eight U.2 or U.3 NVMe SSDs, offsets all power consumption and waste heat from the host platform, and enables administrators to seamlessly migrate SSDs or entire RAID arrays between multiple editing platforms without the fear of data loss or downtime.

HighPoint’s game-changing 16x M.2 SSD7749M2 PCIe Gen4 x16 NVMe AIC will also be on hand. The innovative dual-sided M.2 loading trays enable the AIC to maintain a remarkably slim profile by directly hosting up to 16 M.2 SSDs using just one side of the PCB! The device can be easily installed into any platform capable of supporting high-end dual-width GPU, and can directly host up to 128TB of storage capacity (16x 8TB) from a single PCIe slot.
